Step One: Check!

Smart move! Get ready to cross a bunch of things off your to-do (or shoulda done already) list.

Only one more super-easy step and we’ll be officially on your team, keeping your stuff updated and backed up so you can spend your time doing things you actually want to do:

Step Two

Check your e-mail now for a message from us.

Don’t see it? Check any of the various folders your e-mail provider might’ve filed it in, and drag it out into your regular inbox (otherwise you might miss your reports or security notifications – yikes!).

If you haven’t already worked with AFV (or if it’s been a while), you’ll need to set up secure access for us. The confirmation e-mail will tell you exactly what to do. We’ll include the steps below as well, but please make sure to look for the email.

IMPORTANT: Do not email us a login or login info. It isn’t secure and we won’t use it, so you’ll be wasting your time and potentially risking the safety of your website.

Add us to your site by logging in and going to the Users tab, then following the numbered steps in the image below. Your version of WordPress might look a little different, but the basic steps should be the same.

If you’re a Site Care Business customer, add us to each of your sites.

What’s Next

Unless we’ve let you know there’s an issue that will delay us, you can expect we’ll begin Site Care within one business day after receiving access. Every month, we’ll send you a report* letting you know what’s going on with your site.
